In 2017, TAIF Group and the German company Linde AG signed an agreement on the design of construction of a new production facility on the territory of the plant [16] . It is designed to produce 600 thousand tons of ethylene , 272 thousand tons of propylene , 246 thousand tons of benzene , 88 thousand tons of butadiene . In February 2019, an agreement was signed for construction and installation works, and in 2020, the active phase of construction of the new complex began. (Source: Ruwiki)

21^st May 2020 -- This week, the first batch of large-sized heavy equipment — 37 units of linear quenching and evaporation units and 6 units of steam collectors for pyrolysis furnaces — arrived at the construction site of the new ethylene complex EP-600 ../.. According to the current schedule, the delivery of the equipment will be completed by Linde AG in July 2021. (Source) 

22^nd Jan 2025 -- The new unit is the basis of the new olefin (ethylene) complex of the enterprise. It will be able to process 1.8 MMtpy of straight-run gasoline to obtain 600,000 tpy of ethylene and target products, namely propylene at over 270,000 tpy, benzene at 245,000 tpy, and butadiene at 88,000 tpy. In conjunction with EP-600, NKNKH creates capacities to produce premium metallocene polyethylene at 300,000 tpy, polystyrene units at capacity of 250,000 tpy, ethylbenzene at 350,000 tpy, styrene at 400,000 tpy, and hexene at 50,000 tpy.
