Public Joint Stock Company "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" (ПАО «Нижнекамскнефтехим») is one of Russia's largest integrated petrochemical complexes and one a key production asset within the SIBUR-TAIF group. Located in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, NKNH ranks among the world's leading producers of synthetic rubbers and petrochemical products.

Integration into SIBUR-TAIF

In 2014, NKHK converted to public joint-stock company and listed on the stock market. In 2021, PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim became part of PJSC SIBUR Holding through the strategic merger with TAIF Group, creating Russia's largest and one of the world's biggest integrated petrochemical companies. TAIF Group controls 75.6% stake (now under SIBUR-TAIF following 2021 merger).

Production Facilities

Nizhnekamskneftekhim operates an integrated complex of eight major production plants along with R&D facilities, training centers, and auxiliary operations at its Nizhnekamsk site.

Major Milestones:

• 2016: Modernized linear alpha-olefins (LAO) plant commissioned
• 2017: New productions launched - formaldehyde, isobutylene, benzene extraction, oxyethylated products (MPEG/TPEG/NPEG)
• 2021: Integration into SIBUR Holding; DSSK new-generation rubber and TPE production commenced
• 2024-2025: HEXSIB 1-hexene plant (50,000 t/y) commissioned - Russia's first domestic 1-hexene production using SIBUR proprietary technology
• Ongoing Expansion: EP-600 ethylene complex expansion to 1,500 kt/y capacity

Integration with TAIF-NK Refinery

NKNH operates in tight feedstock integration with the adjacent TAIF-NK refinery within the Nizhnekamsk Industrial Zone:

• Direct naphtha supply via pipeline from TAIF-NK to EP-600 cracker
• Shared utilities, logistics, and infrastructure
