Turban GRR Project Phase

The GRR Tuban project phase by PRPP has been started since 2016 which was marked by Bankable Feasibility Study activities. In 2019, PRPP collaborated with Tecnicas Reunidas S.A (Tecnicas Reunidas) as a GED drafting contractor based in Madrid, Spain to start the General Engineering Design phase for PRPP.

GED work consists of 2 (two) stages, namely Basic Engineering Design (BED) and Front End Engineering Design (FEED). The BED phase was completed on March 31, 2021 and immediately continued with the FEED stage which ended on May 31, 2022.

• 2016 - 2017: Bankable Feasibility Study
• 2019 - 2024: Development Phase
• 2024-2028: Engineering, Procurement and Construction
• 2028: On Stream

Petrochemical Products of GRR Tuban

Grass Root Refinery Tuban (GRR) is a modern fuel refinery:

• processing up to 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
• produce up to 10,921,000 tonnes of fuel annually
• produce up to 5,060,000 tonnes of petrochemical products and other petrochemical derivatives annually.
