The company's main production units are led by a:

  • 1.2 million tons/year ethylene cracking unit, extending downstream along the C2 and C3 product chains, including:
    • 500,000 tons/year high-density polyethylene
    • 300,000 tons/year linear low-density polyethylene (metallocene)
    • 200,000 tons/year α-olefins
    • 100,000 tons/year polyolefin elastomers
    • 100,000 tons/year ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene
    • 350,000 tons/year polypropylene
    • 130,000 tons/year acrylonitrile
    • 150,000 tons/year butadiene extraction
    • 600,000 tons/year pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation
    • 380,000 tons/year aromatics extraction
    • 130,000/40,000 tons/year MTBE/butene-1
  • and other production units and corresponding public works, storage and transportation and auxiliary facilities.

The company uses a combination of Sinopec's own technology and imported technology to produce high-end, differentiated new materials that replace imports and fill domestic gaps, such as medical low-odor high-density polyethylene, high-performance metallocene linear low-density polyethylene, PE100 for color-matched gas pipes, polyolefin thermoplastic elastomers (POE), high-carbon α-olefins, and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The company can provide a large number of specialty chemical materials and high-end special chemicals to drive the development of downstream industries.
