Description

High-calcium quicklime is the purest and most widely produced commercial form of calcium oxide, derived by calcining select high-calcium limestone deposits containing no more than 5% magnesium carbonate. It is characterized by its high CaO content (typically 93–97%), superior reactivity, and consistent chemistry — properties that make it the preferred grade for applications requiring high alkalinity, fast slaking, and chemical purity. It is routinely tested for quality and consistency to ensure the right chemistry and physical performance for demanding industrial applications.
