Description

2,4'-Diphenylmethane diisocyanate is an aromatic diisocyanate isomer with molecular formula C₁₅H₁₀N₂O₂ that contains isocyanate groups at asymmetric positions, creating differential reactivity where the group at the 4-position is approximately four times more reactive than the group at the 2-position, making it useful in specialized polyurethane applications requiring controlled reactivity.
