OMV Aktiengesellschaft is an integrated international energy and chemicals company headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Originally founded in 1956 as "Österreichische Mineralölverwaltung Aktiengesellschaft" (Austrian Mineral Oil Administration Stock Company), the company officially rebranded to simply "OMV" in 1995.

OMV operates through three core business pillars:

Chemicals & Materials: Including its majority stake in Borealis
Fuels & Feedstock: Encompassing refining operations in Austria, Germany, and Romania
Energy: Covering upstream oil and gas exploration and production

OMV is publicly traded and represents one of the largest industrial companies by revenue in Central Europe.
