SABIC UK Petrochemicals Limited is the UK subsidiary of SABIC, one of the world’s leading petrochemical companies. Operating on Teesside since 2006, SABIC UK Petrochemicals has its headquarters at the Wilton Centre and manages manufacturing and storage facilities across three main sites: Wilton International, Teesport, and North Tees. The company’s Wilton International site hosts two major plants—Olefins 6, which is Europe’s second largest ethylene cracker, and System 18, the world’s largest low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant. SABIC UK Petrochemicals produces essential chemicals such as ethylene, propylene, and butadiene, which serve as building blocks for a wide range of everyday materials and plastics.
