Description

Idemitsu Kosan is Japan's second-largest petroleum refiner (after Eneos), an integrated energy company engaged in oil and gas exploration, refining, petrochemicals, lubricants, functional materials, and power generation across approximately 20 countries. The company operates retail fuel stations under the apollostation brand following its 2019 merger with Showa Shell Sekiyu.

  • Hokkaido Refinery – Tomakomai, Hokkaido

  • Chiba Refinery – Ichihara, Chiba

  • Aichi Refinery – Tobishima, Aichi

  • Yamaguchi Refinery – Shunan, Yamaguchi

  • Keihin Refinery (via subsidiary TOA Oil Co., Ltd.) – Kawasaki, Kanagawa (Flexicoking unit, 27 kb/d)
