Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. (山东能源集团) is a major state-owned energy enterprise headquartered in Jinan, Shandong Province, China, formed in July 2020 through the merger of Yankuang Group and the former Shandong Energy Group.

Coal Gasification and Chemical Manufacturing
Shandong Energy is a leading producer of coal-based chemical products including urea and methanol. The company has developed several major coal chemical facilities:
Coal Liquefaction and Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis:
- 1 million tons per year indirect coal liquefaction facility - The first industrial demonstration facility in China for indirect coal liquefaction
- 100,000 tons per year high-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis facility - Demonstration facility; Shandong Energy is the only domestic enterprise mastering both high-temperature and low-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technology
- Fischer-Tropsch wax finishing project (100,000 t/a) - Broke foreign monopoly in this technology
Coal Gasification Technology:
- Large-scale and high-efficiency coal-water slurry gasification technology with daily processing capacity of 3,000 tons of coal - Won second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award
- 4,000-ton super-large coal water slurry gasification technology demonstration facility - National major science and technology project; reached world's leading level
