The manufacturing site of Fujian Zhongjing Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a flagship facility for polypropylene (PP) and biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film production and is recognized as one of the largest and most technologically advanced polymer manufacturing complexes in the world.

The polypropylene project adopts polypropylene production technology of Sinopec and LyondellBasell, with two lines, each with a capacity of 500,000 t/y, and two more lines put into production in 2022, each with a capacity of 600,000 t/y, utilizing fifth-generation Spheripol^® process technology. The combined annual PP production capacity at the site is 2.2 million tonnes, making it one of the largest single-plant PP operations globally.
