PT Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara (LCTN) commenced operations at the Merak facility in 1993, employing Innovene G gas phase technology from Ineos with nominal capacity of 450 kTa for the production of of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE).
