Mahabad Petrochemical Company is an Iranian polyethylene producer located in West Azerbaijan Province. The company is wholly owned by Bakhtar Petrochemical Company, which in turn is a subsidiary of National Iranian etrochemical Company (NIPC).

Bakhtar Petrochemical Holding was established to develop six polymer plants along the West Ethylene Pipeline corridor in western Iran, including Kavian, Lorestan, Kordestan, Mahabad, Kermanshah, and Miandoab petrochemical complexes. Mahabad Petrochemical itself holds a 6.5% cross-ownership stake in Kordestan Petrochemical Company, a sister company within the Bakhtar portfolio.
