Baytown complex is hosting three steam cracker plants based on KBR/Exxonmobil technology:

• BOP: 1979 startup - capacity 1,180,000 t/y of ethylene 
• BOP-X: first extension, 1997 startup - capacity 920,000 t/y of ethylene 
• BOP-2X: second extension, 2018 startup -  capacity 1,500,000 t/y of ethylene

The ethylene is fed to multiple conversion plants, among others HDPE and performance elastomers. Facility mass balance generation is in progress.
