Nov 2016 -- Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Polyolefin Units Introduction
The small polypropylene unit was designed based on digesting and absorbing "HIMONT SPHERIPOL" patented technology, representing the first batch of domestically produced units. It was built and commissioned in 1998 with a production capacity of 70,000 tons (design annual operating time of 7,200 hours), capable of producing 6 major categories, 25 grades of
homopolymer polypropylene products. In March 2005, the unit underwent capacity expansion modification, with production capacity upgraded from the original design of 70,000 tons/year to 120,000 tons/year (design annual operating time of 8,000 hours).
