Technology Unit
- Cracking/Isomerization Reactor
- Generic Catalytic Deoxygenation
- Short Name
- Cracking/Isomerization Reactor
- Description
-
The isomerization/cracking step is used to correct the cold flow properties like CFPP, cloud point and to maximize the middle fraction yield.
Isomerization on noble catalyst is low in heat generation.
For feedstock with nitrogen content higher than 300 ppm the inlet pressure is around 38-42 barg. LHSV is 1.0 hr-1.
Temperature at reactor inlet is 380-390°C.
Maximum recommended temperature rise is around 28°C for classical hydrotreating units. - Link
