Technology Unit

The liquid from the separator is processed in the separation section consisting of three distillation columns: 

1. The stabilizer column removes hydrogen and methane as overhead product;
2. Benzene is the desired product in the benzene column distillate;
3. Finally, in the toluene column, toluene is separated from diphenyl as distillate and recycled back to the process.
