Generally Outside-Battery-Limit (OBL), utility power lines bring high-voltage electricity to a step-down transformer that reduces the high voltage from the utility lines to a medium voltage suitable for the facility's main distribution.

Within the facility, the distribution system typically includes: 

1. Service Entrance: This is where the facility's electrical system connects to the utility power supply. It typically includes metering equipment and main disconnect switches.

2. Switchboard: The primary distribution point that receives power from the service entrance and distributes it to various circuits and sub-panels.

4. Motor Control Center: A specialized panel that houses motor starters, controllers, and protection devices for multiple motors.
