Benzene recovery from the benzene recovery column. e. Ethylbenzene recovery from the ethylbenzene recovery column. f. Polyethylbenzene recovery from the polyethylbenzene recovery column. g. Trans-alkylation reaction in the trans-alkylation reactor.

Operational details are provided in the referenced document. In the example 2, it is mentioned that:- ethylbenzene selectivity reaches 90%
- steam consumption is 5.1 t/h for an ethylene flow of 9,160 kg/h
