STAR Refinery on Aliağa Peninsula in İzmir , the only refinery company in Turkey with a refinery-petrochemical integration; It is the largest refinery project in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Being the first company in Turkey to have a Strategic Investment Incentive Certificate, the company meets 25% of Turkey's need for processed crude oil products on its own, and saves approximately 1.5 billion dollars annually in Turkey's petroleum products imports.
