Site

On the 40,000 m2 site of the butanediol plant, two production lines for the production of formaldehyde, 1,4-butanediol, tetrahydrofuran, as well as one plant each for 1,4-butenediol and 1,4-butindiol (solid) are operated. The products leave the plant by road, in rail tank cars or by ship. There are good connections to the A52 motorway, the railway and the sewer network.

Due to the geographical proximity to Evonik Industries AG and the other companies located at the Marl Chemical Park, a diverse network has been created from which the companies benefit in a wide variety of ways.
