FERTIL is an integrated ammonia and urea production complex situated within ADNOC's downstream industrial hub in Al-Ruwais Industrial City, approximately 235 km west of Abu Dhabi city, directly along the Arabian Gulf coast. The facility was developed to utilize lean associated gas from Abu Dhabi's onshore fields and comprises two fully integrated production trains (Fertil-1 and Fertil-2).

Export Infrastructure

The facility has access to two dedicated urea ship loaders on an export jetty operated by FERTIL directly on the Arabian Gulf, providing favorable freight access to Asia, Australia, and East/South Africa. Approximately 94% of production is exported.
