Site

The production site in Sarroch is inside the SARLUX petrochemical complex. The site produces n-paraffins mostly for internal use at Sasol Italy (Augusta plants). The raw materials (kerosene and diesel) come from the nearby SARAS refinery, one of the largest in the Mediterranean area. SARAS also provides utilities (industrial water, electricity, wastewater treatment, amines for the desulphurization of off gas, etc.) and logistics services (concierge, jetty, firefighting, etc.).
