Description
The Augusta site is a European leader in the production of alkylates and intermediates for the detergent market: LAB (Linear-alkyl-benzene), alcohols, n-paraffins and n-olefins are in production. The location is strategic as the main raw materials come from nearby refineries (in particular Sonatrach). The site has in couse with the Navy a pier with two berths for the reception of raw materials and the shipment of finished products.
