Description
Quantafuel’s first commercial chemical recycling plant is located in Skive, Denmark, where production began in 2020. The factory is presently scaled to process 20,000 tonnes of mixed plastic waste per year. The plastic feedstock, primarily household waste from Denmark & Norway, would otherwise be incinerated or disposed of in landfills. All liquid products manufactured in Skive will be shipped to BASF, who will upgrade the recycled material to new plastic products and chemicals, creating a circular economy for plastic waste.
