Tarim Phase II

Project name: Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Tarim 1.2 million tons/year Phase II Ethylene Project Supporting Green Low-carbon Demonstration Project
Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical mainly separates ethane from natural gas and then produces ethylene through ethane cracking. The total investment of the project is 29 billion yuan, and the construction content includes: the construction of 1.2 million tons/year ethylene, two sets of 450,000 tons/year full-density polyethylene, 300,000 tons/year low-density polyethylene, 450,000 tons/year polypropylene and other 11 major production units, and the construction of a green and low-carbon demonstration project.
The project consists of: CO2 capture unit, PSA unit, synthetic ammonia unit, urea unit, as well as supporting public works, auxiliary production facilities, storage and transportation facilities, etc. The main product is urea, with liquid ammonia as by-product.
