Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. operates its principal facilities at a single, fully integrated complex known as the Baofeng Circular Economy Industrial Park, situated within the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (宁夏银川市宁东能源化工基地宝丰循环经济工业园区，邮编：750411).

The site operates an integrated coal-chemical value chain centered on methanol-to-olefins (MTO) production:

• Coal Supply: The park is supplied with feedstock from Baofeng Energy Group's mining and washing operations.
• Methanol Production: Integrated gasifiers and methanol synthesis units at the site have a total capacity of approximately 6.4 million t/y of methanol production, with Phase III including a 1.5 million tonnes/year coal gasification methanol device.
• Olefins Production:
  • The park currently operates coal-to-olefins production through phases I-III with a combined olefin capacity of approximately 1,200,000 tonnes/year, with Phase III including a 500,000 tonnes of methanol-to-olefin project. 
  • Phase IV (under construction): Additional 500,000 tonnes/year capacity, bringing total site olefins to 1,700,000 tonnes/year
• Downstream Polymerization: The site produces polymer-grade products including:
  • Polyethylene and Polypropylene: Combined capacity aligned with olefin production including the Phase III 300,000 tonnes/year polypropylene plant.
  • Specialty Products: 250,000 tonnes/year LDPE/EVA production capability (Phase III).

Advanced Process Technologies: The site employs DMTO-III (third-generation methanol-to-olefins) technology, advanced separation systems, and integrated utilities networks for steam, power, and tail-gas management.

All production units are interconnected by a central utilities network for steam, power and tail-gas recycling, achieving resource conservation and low-carbon efficiency. The site’s modular design and unified control systems enable continuous optimization of material and energy flows, supporting over 100 distinct chemical products. This configuration positions the Ningdong Industrial Park as one of China’s premier coal-chemical hubs, demonstrating how integrated value chains can deliver large-scale output with rigorous environmental performance.
