The Dammam plant is Basic Chemical Industries’ original and flagship manufacturing facility, strategically located adjacent to the First Industrial City in Dammam, Eastern Province, on a 200,000 square meter site. Historically, this plant was the main site for BCI’s chlor-alkali production, manufacturing a broad range of chemicals including chlorine, caustic soda in both liquid and flake form, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hypochlorite, as well as other water treatment and industrial chemicals. Today, the Dammam plant is the older, smaller-capacity site of BCI.
