: At the second-largest refinery site in the Horst district, around 600 employees work on a 160-hectare site.

The facilities in Horst include the coker and the fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit. These units produce numerous products essential for further chemical processing. Additionally, Horst houses a crude oil distillation unit and a vacuum distillation unit—both are the initial processing units required to refine crude oil.
