4th Sep 2024: The Binhai District Hongrun New Materials Industrial Park project is divided into three phases. Phases I and II have been completed and put into production, and the third phase of the fine chemical and functional new materials integration project is under construction. The project uses low-quality residual oil, waste asphalt, non-standard diesel and other raw materials from the surrounding market as raw materials, and processes and transforms them into high-end white oil, Class III lubricating oil, meta-xylene and other high value-added products. At the same time, it has built the first domestic "aromatics-durene-pyromellitic anhydride-polyimide and composite materials" full industrial chain product line, and its main products are durene, polyimide film, etc. The third phase project mainly produces domestic short-board and blank products such as syndiotactic polystyrene, polyetherimide, transparent ABS resin, and high-end water-absorbent resin, which are widely used in environmental protection new materials, aerospace, precision instruments and integrated circuits. Based on the search results, Sinochem Hongrun Petrochemical Co., Ltd. licensed the ISOALKY ionic liquids alkylation technology from Honeywell UOP for use at its refinery complex in the Binhai Economic-Technological Development Area of Weifang City, Shandong Province, China
. There is no mention of Qinzhou in relation to this specific licensing agreement.
The ISOALKY technology will be used to produce high-quality alkylate for cleaner-burning motor fuels at this Binhai complex. This makes Sinochem Hongrun the first petrochemicals manufacturer in China to license the ISOALKY technology
