Xinyang Technology Group Co., Ltd. is a backbone enterprise in the production of styrene in China. It currently has a 250,000 tons/year ethylbenzene-styrene joint unit, which has been successfully operated for two years. At the same time, a 600,000 tons/year ethylbenzene and 300,000 tons/year styrene joint unit has been approved for construction . The main raw material for styrene production is benzene, and the hydrogenated benzene produced by the company's existing 100,000 tons/year crude benzene hydrogenation unit is far from meeting the needs of styrene production. A large amount of raw benzene needs to be purchased. In order to reduce the dependence on purchased raw benzene, enhance the company's market competitiveness, and expand the company's industrial chain development, Xinyang Technology Group Co., Ltd. plans to invest 13.75 million US dollars (89.37 million RMB) on the basis of the existing crude benzene hydrogenation technology accumulation, on the existing 6818m² land in the company's east plant area , to transform and expand the existing 100,000 tons/year crude benzene hydrogenation unit, and implement an annual production of 250,000 tons of crude benzene hydrogenation project.
