ASC is one of the largest integrated chlor alkali-vinyl chloride plant in South-East Asia.

Energy Systems

  1. Power Plant [Coal Firing]: Boiler —- Turbine — Generator; including internal steam network & power distribution to Receiving Station > PWP-1 & PWP-2
  2. VCM Furnace [EDC Cracking]: Co-firing Natural Gas + Hydrogen > VCM-2 plant
  3. Gas Boiler [Steam Generator]: Co-firing Natural Gas + Hydrogen; including steam network > Boiler-1 plant
  4. Building: Office Building & Maintenance Workshop; electricity

    • 7 phases of expansion (1989-2016)
    • Initial capacity: 130k tons (1989) → 700k tons after 2016 upgrades[1]
    • Utilizes 5 dedicated production lines based on phase documentation[1]
  • VCM 
    • 3 major units:
      1. Unit 1: 250k tons (original)
      2. Unit 2: Upgraded to 350k tons in 2018[4]
      3. Unit 3: 400k tons added in Phase 6 (2016)[1]
    • Total lines: 3, with Unit 2 being retrofitted for higher efficiency[4]
  • PVC

      2. Line 2: 125k tons (1998)
