Description

A Polyoxypropylene Polyol is a Polymer Adduct of Propylene Oxide formed in the Presence of a Multi-Functional Initiator Alcohol or Amine with Functionality (Fn) higher than 3. Common Multi-Functional Initiators are: ▪️Fn = 4: Pentaerythritol, Ethylenediamine (EDA), Phenolic Resin ▪️Fn = 5: Diethylenetriamine (DETA) ▪️Fn = 6: Sorbitol, Sucrose Such Polyols are typically used for the Fabrication of Rigid Polyurethane Foams.
