Description

Toluene 2,6-diisocyanate is a Toluene meta-Diisocyanate in which the isocyanato groups are at positions 2 and 6 relative to the methyl group on the Benzene ring. Toluene-2,6-diisocyanate is a liquid, used in the manufacture of polyurethane foams, elastomers, and coatings, and a cross-linking agent for Nylon 6. It is mostly commercialized as a 80% 2,4-: 20% 2,6-TDI mixture.
