During the process of his enterprising professional journey, he is believed to have recognized that if the Nation is to progress, optimal utilization of resources coupled with time, cost and quality bound project implementation was an absolute necessity. He demonstrated his prowess through a wide array of Mega projects that he had the privilege of being associated with in Refining, Petrochemicals and Gas processing Projects in India. In the process, he also got an opportunity to be associated in drawing the Refining and Petrochemical Vision plans 2030-35 for GOI. A large part of this construct is fortunately, now unfolding into implementation. Besides, he was also associated in the Implementation of the World’s largest Single Train Dangote Refinery from Concept to Commissioning. This also included an extended stint of stay at the Project Site in Nigeria to facilitate the Startup and Commissioning of the Refinery cum Petrochemical complex.
With a professional experience of close to four and a half decades encompassing various roles in Conceptualization, Process Configuration, Technology Insights, Project Initiation and Implementation, Procurement, Planning and extensive Business Development domains, the journey of several Mega Projects in the Hydrocarbon Industry is an excitement which is a wonderful experience to share. A lot of this has been shared through several books which have been already published and a few others which are underway. Additionally has been serving as an Independent Director in Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Limited and Paramount Corporation Limited. The Joy of learning and sharing continues!
