The Simosa Oil Co., Ltd. (SOC) was established in June 2000. SOC’s main products are bitumen (asphalt), liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2), and their derivatives, which are not only sold in Taiwan, but also throughout the Asia Pacific such as China, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia and the Pacific Islands. SOC’s plants are located in Formosa Industrial Complex, Mailiao Village, Yunlin County, Taiwan. Our bitumen plant with an annual output of approximately 400,000 mt was started up in May 2002. Our food grade liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2) plant with an annual output of approximately 45,000 mt was started up in Jan 2011.
