Description

Suncor Energy Products Partnership is the legal entity that owns and operates the Montreal refinery in Quebec, Canada. This partnership holds substantially all of Suncor's Canadian refining and marketing assets, including refineries in Montreal, Edmonton (Strathcona), and Sarnia, along with the downstream retail and wholesale distribution network.

Suncor Energy Inc. (Parent Company) maintains 100% effective control of the partnership through:

  • Direct participation as a general partner
  • 100% ownership of 1277136 Alberta Ltd. (wholly-owned subsidiary)​
  • 100% ownership of Suncor Energy Products Inc. (wholly-owned subsidiary)​

This structure ensures that all economic interests and control of Suncor Energy Products Partnership ultimately flow to Suncor Energy Inc. as the public parent company.
