Description

North Atlantic’s oil refinery (NARL Refining LP) is located in Come By Chance, Newfoundland and Labrador. The refinery was built for the future and those innovations have been of great benefit. In the early 1970s, when the refinery was founded, oil was plentiful and easy to recover, so installing clean fuel technology and one of North America’s largest refinery docks seemed unnecessary. However, as environmental stringency has continued to increase and ships have grown, the refinery has been able to respond to these new demands with great reward.
