: Essar Oil (UK) Limited (Essar Oil UK) owns and operates the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, located on the south side of the Mersey Estuary near Liverpool. Stanlow plays a key part in the national economy, producing over 16% of the UK's transport fuels. This equates to an annual production of over 4.4 billion litres of diesel, 3 billion litres of petrol and 2 billion litres of jet fuel. Our process units optimise our output, with over 9 million tonnes of crude oil and feed-stock processed each year, making us one of the biggest refineries in the country.
