ExxonMobil (Huizhou) Chemical Co., Ltd. (EMHCC; 埃克森美孚(惠州)化工有限公司) is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise established January 18, 2019, as a direct subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation. Registered in Huizhou, Guangdong Province with USD $2 billion capital, EMHCC represents China's first major petrochemical project with 100% U.S. ownership and no joint venture partner.

The company operates an integrated petrochemical complex in Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park, featuring a 1.6 million t/y ethylene steam cracker and downstream polyolefin units producing 2.65 million t/y of high-performance polymers, including metallocene LLDPE, LDPE, and differentiated polypropylene. Total project investment exceeds USD $10 billion. Construction began April 2020; commercial operations commenced July 15, 2025.

EMHCC manufactures advanced polyolefin products for packaging, automotive, hygiene, agriculture, and consumer durables markets, leveraging ExxonMobil's proprietary technologies and global R&D capabilities. The company's business scope encompasses production, R&D, import/export, logistics, and technical services for petroleum and chemical products.

As one of China's seven nationally designated major foreign investment projects, EMHCC benefits from streamlined regulatory support reflecting China's commitment to foreign direct investment in strategic sectors.

The complex is supported by the Daya Bay R&D Center (established 2023) and employs cutting-edge environmental and energy integration systems aligned with regional decarbonization initiatives.
