Wanhua Chemical (Ningbo) Chlor-Alkali Co., Ltd. is mainly jointly funded by strong strategic investors such as Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Ningbo Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd. and CITIC Industrial Ningbo Investment Co., Ltd., with shareholding ratios of 50.3%, 33.3% and 15% respectively. The company was formerly the Ningbo Electrochemical Plant, which started in 1958.

The company's main products are caustic soda, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen, sodium hypochlorite, etc., which are widely used in light industry, textile, metallurgy, petrochemical and public utilities. With complete shipping facilities and long-term stable supply capacity of equipment, the company has obtained strategic cooperation opportunities with a large number of customers in Zhejiang Province, the southeast coast and even overseas. The company's liquid chlorine products are 100% supplied to the park as one of the important raw materials for MDI and related supporting industrial chains, and caustic soda products are mainly sold to the park, within the province and outside the province.
