SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co. Ltd. | Chinese: 中沙（天津）石化有限公司 (SSTPC) is a major integrated petrochemical company located in Tianjin, China, formed as a 50:50 joint venture between China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC) and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). Established in 2009, SSTPC operates one of China’s largest world-scale petrochemical complexes, covering 1.72 square kilometers in the Tianjin Binhai district.

Commercial operation began in May 2010 and the site is equipped with nine up-to-date production plants, including a 1 million ton per year ethylene facility that has since been expanded, alongside large capacities for polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene glycol, ethylene oxide, and, since 2023, a new 260,000 t/y polycarbonate unit. SSTPC uses advanced process technologies and is recognized for high product purity and operational standards.
