Cameron LNG, LLC (CLNG) is a U.S. natural gas liquefaction and LNG export company headquartered in Houston, Texas, operating a major LNG export terminal in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, on the Calcasieu Ship Channel.
It is a jointly owned special purpose entity established to develop, build, and operate the Cameron LNG terminal — one of the first large-scale LNG export facilities to enter commercial operations on the U.S. Gulf Coast, achieving full operations across all three liquefaction trains in August 2020.
Cameron LNG Holdings, LLC consolidates the interests of the four equity partners as follows:
- Sempra Infrastructure (50.2%)
- TotalEnergies via Global LNG North America Corp. (16.6%)
- Mitsui & Co. via Mitsui & Co. Cameron LNG Investment LLC (16.6%)
- Japan LNG Investment LLC (16.6%) — a 70/30 joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line).
