Novus Energy Inc. is a Canadian upstream oil and gas exploration and production company wholly owned by Yanchang Petroleum International Limited since January 2014. Originally incorporated in 1998 as Regal Energy Ltd. and renamed Novus Energy Inc. in August 2009, it was formerly listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV: NVS) until its delisting upon acquisition.

The company focuses on the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas across western Canada, operating under the principle of "stabilising production and increasing efficiency". In H1 2025, Novus reported cumulative net oil and gas production of 263,000 BOE with sales revenue of CAD 16.4 million.
