Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is an inorganic compound composed of one titanium atom bonded to two oxygen atoms. It appears as a white, odorless, crystalline solid that is insoluble in water and alcohol but soluble in concentrated acids anda density that depends on its form, e.g. 4.23 g/cm³ in case of rutile and 3.78 g/cm³ in case of anatase.
