I just finalized a complete and detailed mass balance of the Pengerang Energy Complex in Johor, Malaysia, that includes all production assets, product streams and technologies.

The site is balanced within 2,000 tonnes in relation to 6,324,000 tonnes of feedstock, which is a rounding error in the product stream quantities. All production assets are as well perfectly balanced.

All technologies have been identified and the flow diagram is semi-automatically generated from mass balance table values, meaning that all i had to do is to move and correctly position the boxes manually as well as the arrow connectors in order to minimize cross-overs and improve clarity and readability.

You can generate a facility model in a jiffy by using the portfolio planning PLUS platform at no cost as it is in open access and a collaborative project. All you need to do is to create a manufacturing site, then to place technology assets and to connect them via the product streams.

The platform has advanced capabilities such as identifying out of balance assets, unused product streams and others in order to fool-proof model generation and guarantying your site model is always balanced.
