Jul 3, 2025 -- Mitsubishi Chemical Group Corporation and ENEOS Corporation have celebrated the official inauguration of Japan’s largest chemical recycling facility at Mitsubishi Chemical’s Ibaraki Plant. The plant, employing Hydro-PRT technology licensed from Mura Technologys, has a capacity to process 20,000 tonnes per year of mixed plastic waste. 

Mass balance of the facility has been completed.
