Singapore Refining Company Private Limited

Converts heavy fuel oil components into high-quality, low-sulphur middle distillates (such as diesel). The hydrocracking process uses hydrogen to remove impurities and produce cleaner products.

Feb 2005 -- Singapore Refining Co Pte Ltd (SRC) is loading its first hydrocracker reactor with Haldor Topsøe A/S's pretreating catalyst, and the first bed of its second hydrocracking reactor with Topsøe's hydrocracking catalyst. SRC's HCU-2 unit is a high pressure and high conversion hydrocracker with a 16,000 bpd capacity. The unit operates in recycle mode, and the main goal is to maximize middle distillates production with a preference for jet fuel. (Source: K.M. Jackson, Reasearchgate).
