Kazanorgsintez PJSC UNIPOL™ PE Lines: Construction Dates and Current Capacity.

All three UNIPOL™ PE reactor lines at Kazanorgsintez were started up in 1983. This is confirmed by both Univation Technologies and Kazanorgsintez sources, which state that all lines have been producing a wide range of PE resin grades since their initial start-up that year. (1st April 2020 -- Univation)

In 2006, Kazanorgsintez and Univation Technologies signed an agreement to triple the capacity of two of the three existing UNIPOL™ PE reactors, raising each to 220,000 tonnes per year. This upgrade brought the total nameplate plant capacity to over 510,000 tonnes per year. (14th Jun 2024 -- CHEMICAL MARKET RESOURCES)

The modernization process involved staged reconstruction of all three lines, with reactors A and C upgraded first, followed by partial upgrades to reactor B. (15th Apr 2015 -- REALNOE VREMYA)

In Summary, all three UNIPOL™ PE lines at Kazanorgsintez were built and started up in 1983. Major capacity expansions (especially for Reactors A and C) occurred in the mid-2000s, and today the plant’s UNIPOL™ PE capacity exceeds 510,000 tonnes per year.
