The Olefins Unit at Beaumont is comprised of two steam crackers that have a total of 16 furnaces. It is reported to be made of two crackers equal in size with a total ethylene capacity of 816,000 tonnes per year. Technology is assumed to be proprietary ExxonMobil olefinscracking, equivalent to KBR's SCORE technology.
